Recent Paintings...

Here are some paintings I've done within the last month.

The boot is def my favorite. I painted it for my goddaughters birthday. She's a little cowgirl. 

 

Junk I've fixed...

So over the past few weeks I started turning old and crappy furniture into new and awesome. I bought this dresser off craiglist for $70. It was white with really old hardware..

Plleassseee disregard the trash. Obviously I had several projects going on at once. The after is also without the knobs on the middle drawer. I had a problem after I painted the drawers with them not fitting so this was just after I had found that out. Also, this dresser  has a mirror on top, so more pics to come.

Alsoooo... I followed a tutorial from YHL and added a little hidden art work to the inside of the drawers.

Here are the coffee and end tables I painted. I only have a before pic of the end table.

A Fresh Start...

So, today's the first day ever on my little blog. I really don't know how I want to make this or who will even read it. Basically, it's something for me to post the things I paint, make, etc. and for whoever is interested to look at it. The first time I saw/heard of a 'blog' was from a girl at work. She told me how she'll read people's and how interesting it is to see what other people go through. I thought this is the stupidest thing I've heard of, but then I became obsessed with DIY projects and found this website YHL . So I figured, hey if they can do it so can I! Along, of course, with my partner in crime, Petrie.

Here's our first picture together. She's was about 7/8 weeks old. 

I guess that's it.. My first post, wow. How boring. I promise it'll get better.
